The Special Events Committee is comprised of subcommittees/taskforces working together to assist in planning, organizing and promoting the different functions and fundraisers that best serve the membership. Events include: Annual Meeting, Hometown Holiday Parade, Forsythia Festival, and other non-dues generated events.
The Special Events Taskforce creates new non-dues revenue generating events; identifies and secures a venue for each event; identifies and secures a speaker(s), selects menus, etc.
The Hometown Holiday Parade Taskforce selects the theme for the Parade; assists with applications; and volunteers on the evening of the Parade.
