• Leadership Monroe

  • Leadership Monroe is a program designed to bring a robust and diverse network of individuals together to gain deeper insight into the current challenges facing our area, while preparing them for a more active role in the community. The annual program introduces different sectors to participants, providing valuable contacts, education, and a broadened perspective.

    Leadership Monroe kicks off with a one-night retreat to introduce you to the program and the team that you will work closely with to complete a class project.  Meetings are then scheduled monthly around the wonderful Monroe County Community where you will have the opportunity to visit and learn about different areas that help our community excel.  The class will also engage with various governmental leadership entities at their respective meetings and Chamber Events.

    The goal of Leadership Monroe is to forge relationships while building strong community members. Discussions designed to foster thought and action accelerate opportunities for Monroe County to flourish. The participants, and those whom they interact with, profit from fresh insight and motivation gained from this experience.
