    Event Description:
    Fostering and maintaining educational excellence in Monroe County is a focus of the Forsyth-Monroe County Foundation.  Each year, the Foundation recognizes Monroe County Middle School students who have maintained all A’s on their report cards for the duration of the school year.  Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, we still plan to honor these 100+ hardworking students this year.
     
    In an effort to recognize academic excellence and encourage students at the beginning of their academic careers to strive to be all that they can be, the Rising Stars Recognition Program was born.  We will not be able to take the students to lunch, or hold a group celebration, but they will still receive a certificate of achievement and a gift sponsored by a Chamber member business or community member. 
     
    Benjamin Franklin once said, “An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.”  We ask for your help in making that investment in our students. You can select from the following opportunities.
     
    Rising Star Sponsor: $100 – will pay for the student's gift, award, your name and your business's logo will be featured in The Reporter. Additionally, a special thank you will be given to these sponsors at the conclusion of the program.
     
    We would like you to consider partnering with us as we honor this year’s group of remarkable students and pledge your support no later than May 15, 2020.
