    **About Leadership Monroe 2027**

Leadership Monroe is a nine-month leadership development program hosted by the Forsyth-Monroe Chamber Foundation and designed to educate, empower, and connect current and emerging leaders in Forsyth and Monroe County.

Through monthly class sessions, participants gain firsthand exposure to the people, organizations, industries, public services, and civic institutions that shape our community. The program includes visits with local leaders, behind-the-scenes tours, meaningful discussion, civic engagement opportunities, and a collaborative class project that addresses a real community need.

Leadership Monroe is ideal for individuals who want to grow as leaders, build lasting relationships, better understand Monroe County, and become more engaged in service to the community. Participants leave the program more informed, connected, and prepared to contribute to the continued success of Forsyth and Monroe County.

The 2027 class will include a required orientation and retreat, monthly program sessions, attendance at local public meetings, volunteer service, and participation in a class project. Applicants should be prepared to fully commit to the program schedule and actively participate in all aspects of the Leadership Monroe experience.
