Individual Benefits Consultant – 1099

DJester Benefits is looking for a motivated, licensed **Individual Benefits Consultant** to join our growing agency.

This role focuses on helping **individuals and families** navigate their insurance options and find coverage that fits their needs and budget. Our consultants can assist with health coverage, dental and vision, life insurance, supplemental coverage, and other individual insurance solutions.

We're looking for someone who wants more than just a place to write policies. This is an opportunity to **build relationships, develop a book of business, and work toward ownership in what you build.**

### Requirements

* Active **Georgia Accident & Sickness License**

* Active **Georgia Life Insurance License**

* Must get certified on Georgia Access marketplace**

* Must be able and willing to **use technology resources and systems provided by the company**

* Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills

* Willingness to prospect, follow up with leads, and build a book of business

* Comfortable educating clients and explaining insurance in an easy-to-understand way

* Professional and dependable

### What You'll Help Clients With

As an Individual Benefits Consultant, you'll work directly with individuals and families to help with:

* Individual and family **health coverage**

* **Dental and vision**

* **Life insurance**

* **Supplemental insurance solutions**

* Other coverage and protection options available through the agency

Our goal isn't simply to sell another policy. We want our clients to understand **what they have, how it works, and how it can help protect them financially.**

### Compensation & Opportunity

* **1099 Independent Contractor position**

* **Commission-only compensation**

* **Bonus opportunities** based on production and performance

* **Referral bonus opportunities** for referring clients or opportunities for products and services not sold directly by the individual consultant

* **Book ownership opportunities after 3 years**, subject to the terms of the contractor agreement

* Opportunity to build long-term and recurring business

* Access to multiple insurance carriers, products, and solutions

### Benefits

This position does **not currently include company-paid employee benefits** due to its 1099 independent contractor status.
